Why Moxe and Pluck?

The last two months have been quite and adventure for me. I have recently made a big move--I moved to DC area for a new job. Boy, has it been fun as I have found out a few things about myself that I never knew!
I named this blog, Moxie and Pluck because those are two things that I've been working to develop. I always wanted to be know has having moxie and pluck.

The last few months I have found myself having a determination and nerve and being full of courage. I just close my eyes and move forward. This move has brought that determination out of me. I am not afraid of uncomfortable things as much as I used to be. I am not needing to control everything as much as I used to be. I am not as inflexible as I used to be. I am ready to "grab a cute pair of shoes and head out and change a few things" as my favorite Curly Girl Design card says.

I want to take you on this journey as I strive to discover this fun city, new things about myself, develop talents I didn't know I could possess.  Who know, you may find your own ounce of Moxie and Pluck!
